Terms of Use

DriveBunch is a free app for logging the cars you have driven, and for sharing your garage with car communities you choose to join. Use it sensibly, treat other members decently, don’t upload anything you have no right to upload, and understand that the car database is a work in progress. Everything below is the longer form of that.

DriveBunch is provided by Diogo Soares, in Portugal. Using the app means you accept these terms. If you do not, don't use it.

You need to be at least 16 to have an account.

You can sign up with Apple, Google or an email address.

If you started as a guest in an earlier version of the app, your guest garage only exists on the device you created it on. If you clear the app's data or switch device, it is gone and we cannot get it back. Adding an email, or signing in with Apple or Google, is what keeps it.

Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile, and everything goes with it.

Your photos and notes stay yours. We do not claim ownership of them.

You give us permission to store them and to show them back to you. If you join a community, you also give us permission to show them to that community’s members, as described in the Community Rules below. You agree to that each time you apply to a community, and it ends when you leave.

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use, and nothing illegal, hateful, or featuring other people who have not agreed to it. We can remove content that breaks this and close accounts that keep doing it.

How communities work. A community is a group of people who share their garages with each other. Founding members and people we approve can start one; anyone with an account (not a guest) can apply, and the community’s admins accept or decline. Members see each other’s driven cars, ratings, photos and notes, first name, profile photo, city and country. When you are accepted, the feed shows a card saying you joined, with your three highest-rated cars from before you joined. Your Dream Garage, email and anything else stay private.

Zero tolerance. In a community, and anywhere another member can see it, you must not post or do anything abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexual, violent or illegal; spam or fake garages; or pretend to be someone else. There is no acceptable level of this.

Report and block. Every car, photo, person and community has a ⋯ menu to report it. Both founders receive every report and act within 24 hours: we remove the content and remove the person responsible from the community, or from DriveBunch altogether. You can also block anyone; you then stop seeing each other in every community you share, and they are not told.

Admins. A community’s admins decide who joins and can remove members. They cannot moderate content or see anything you have not shared with their community. We can remove any content, community or account that breaks these rules, without notice when needed.

Contact. To report something outside the app, or to appeal a decision, write to support@drivebunch.com.

The list of manufacturers, models, generations and versions is compiled from public sources and is being expanded and corrected continuously. It will contain mistakes and gaps.

Nothing in it is a statement about any manufacturer's products, and DriveBunch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of the marques named in the app. Names are used only to describe cars.

The app is free and provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, always be correct, or never lose anything — although we have no intention of doing any of those things.

We may change features, or stop the service entirely. If we shut it down we will give reasonable notice so you can get your data out.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law, and nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything caused deliberately or by gross negligence.

You can stop using DriveBunch whenever you like, and delete your account from your profile.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Community Rules, that is used to attack or abuse the service or other people, or where we are required to by law.

If these terms change materially, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. Continuing to use DriveBunch afterwards means you accept the new version.

Portuguese law applies, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction — without taking away the protection of the law of the country you live in, if that gives you more.
